What is a newspaper? When I think of a newspaper, all I think about is something to eat crabs on. The one time I ever read a news paper was during my high school basketball career, the Baltimore Sun wrote and article about me. Other than that I dont read newspapers. Like why go buy a newspaper when you have all these news channels and all theses news apps that you can download onto your phone? Its really a waste of paper in my opinion. I honestly believe that community newspapers like the Dundalk Eagle will be the only newspapers left in the near future. I believe this because community newspapers are not in the forms of apps, they are something that if you want to find out about whats happening in your specific community you will have to read about it. The news stations on Television don't really go into specific detail about whats going on in a community. Lets say for example a pair of students for Dundalk High School make it onto honor roll 4 years in a row during their high school career. These students would not be mentioned in a news paper such as USA today, but they would definitely be mentioned in the Dundalk Eagle. It is very impressive for a student to make honor roll every year in high school so they should be recognized for their accomplishments. That's why I think that the bigger news papers like USA today will eventually be over run by apps and the internet, and eventually stop being printed. The world is taking a huge turn toward technology and everything paper will soon be forgotten about. Like I always say... Its the little things that count! And that is exactly what the smaller news papers write about, the small things!!

I would have never thought that the local papers will last the longest but after what you said about the bigger papers turning to internet and news apps it makes sense.
